After nearly two and a half years, Barbra Streisand's 2006
concert is finally being released on DVD and Blu-Ray. Already
available in Europe, the expected release date for the US is
April 28.

The first Barbra
Streisand title to be released in the new spectacular Blu-Ray format
is "Streisand Live in Concert 2006." Barbra's performances were filmed
for this video release during her two Fort Lauderdale, Florida shows
on October 2006.
Fans in Europe, where both the DVD and Blu-Ray versions of the show
have already appeared on store shelves, are universally ecstatic in
their reports of outstanding quality. The Blu-Ray version in
particular has been receiving enthusiastic responses from fans
equipped with the latest HD televisions and Blu-Ray players.
With unsurpassed audio and video quality, Blu-Rays provide the best
at-home viewing experience available. But be sure that you have the
required Blu-Ray player and HD TV before purchasing the Blu-Ray
version of Barbra's concert. Otherwise, get the standard DVD version
of the show.
