Barbra
never gave a concert at Caesars
Palace in Las Vegas (well,
not yet, anyway),
but she did capture the
attention of the hotel's
guests and staff on July 14. Barbra was there to shoot scenes
for her upcoming film, "My
Mother's Curse."
Barbra's quick visit to
Sin City was unpublicized,
save for a brief mention
in a local paper the day
before. When we dropped by
to check out the action,
the only people aware of
what was happening seemed
to be random hotel guests
making their way through
the lobby. Imaging their
surprise as they crossed
paths with Barbra
Streisand and Seth Rogen
on the way to the buffet
line.
Back in February, 2010, it
was rumored that Barbra
had turned down a
lucrative, multi-year
contract to appear at a
major Las Vegas hotel.
That hotel was reportedly
Caesar's Palace. |
