Barbra Considers Dates in China |

According to
comments made by Barbra during her closing night
concert in Los Angeles, she has an interest in
extending the reach of her current concert tour all
the way to China.

Barbra casually dropped a bit of monumental news
at her closing night concert in LA last night.
During the Q&A session with the audience, Barbra
announced that she has been invited to perform in
China and is considering the offer. Barbra has
always had an affinity for Chinese culture and
people, so it's quite possible that we will see a
Streisand performance in Beijing, Shanghai or Hong
Kong sometime in 2007.
While on topic, Barbra also stated that she would
like to perform in Russia. European dates will
likely be included as well if Barbra decides to go
ahead with a world tour. So, as Barbra said in 1963,
"Come to the Supermarket (in Old Peking)". We'll all
try to be there, Barbra...as long as we haven't
already maxed out our credit cards.
