Tonight, former president Clinton celebrated his 65th birthday by taking in some top-notch entertainment at the Hollywood Bowl.

Barbra, who attended the event but did not participate on stage, sent a video which was incorporated in an opening montage tribute to the former president's work.

The evening consisted of a mega-concert that celebrated the Bill Clinton Foundation. Performers included Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga, Bono & The Edge, Kenny Chesney and Usher.

Proceeds from ticket sales served as a fundraiser for the organization's humanitarian work around the globe.

The video message in which Barbra appeared opened the show and featured a number of politicians and celebrities. Barbra spoke about the environment and mentioned "the hopes of future generations who can breathe easier knowing that major cities are reducing carbon emissions."
