Fernand Leger
Fernand Leger, born in 1881, was initially trained as an architectural designer. He studied in Paris and was influenced by the style of Cezanne. He worked towards a structural strength in his paintings. He was one of the most influential cubist painters. He also collaborated on a film, "Le Ballet mecanique," in 1923.
