In "The Prince
of Tides" Barbra's character says, "Just because I don't
know how to cook doesn't mean I don't know how to eat."
Good food has always been important to
Barbra, so we thought we'd share three special recipes attributed to
her: an appetizer, a main course and a dessert.
Bon Appétit. |

Barbra's Pot Roast
As promotion for the 1974
film "For Pete's Sake," a recipe billed as "Barbra's Pot Roast" was
available at supermarket check-out counters and published in various
newspapers. Those with culinary talents might want to give this recipe
a try.

Barbra's Instant Coffee Ice Cream
Barbra is known for her love of
coffee ice cream, and sometime in the mid-60s, her favorite recipe
(called "Barbra's Instant Coffee Ice Cream") was published. It
seems a bit complicated, but doesn't the result sound just
scrumptious?
