This
marks
the
second
Streisand
film
title
to
become
available
on
this
stunning
home
viewing
format.
Barbra's
"What's
Up,
Doc?"
was
released
on
BluRay
last
month.

Do not purchase the HD-DVD version of "Meet the Fockers" (red
bordered case) unless you already own an HD-DVD player.

 Earlier this past summer, Universal Pictures released
the first ever Barbra Streisand film in high definition DVD.
When "Meet the Fockers" (HD) hit store shelves on August 14, it
ushered in an exciting new era of enhanced home viewing for
Streisand fans. "Meet the Fockers" is available exclusively in
the HD-DVD format (not Blue Ray) and requires an HD television
and special player to be watched.
High definition
television viewing is a suburb experience. Its crisp life-like
picture and enhanced audio breathe new life into familiar films.
And though only one Streisand film has been released in hi-def
to date, several of her other films have recently been broadcast
on high definition channels. It has been mentioned that the
upcoming television broadcast of Barbra's recent US concert tour
might be broadcast in hi-def as well.
