People/Where Are They Now?

Actor

Though they didn't have many scenes together in "A Star Is Born," M.G. Kelly and Barbra Streisand have remained friends.

Bebe Jesus in "A Star Is Born

M.G. "Machine Gun" Kelly is an actor and a real life radio DJ, so his role as the acerbic radio host in "A Star Is Born" was a natural combination of both his talents. As the feisty Bebe Jesus, M.G. played the venomous antagonist to the hilt opposite Kristofferson's John Norman.

Barbra and M.G. have remained friendly over the years, and she even called in to his LA based radio show in May of 1977 for an on air chat.
Listen to the entire interview here.

Kelly has an impressive list of acting credits in both television and the movies. Currently, he is the host of two syndicated radio programs around the country. Visit M.G. Kelly's website for a look at his very interesting career, including a personal note he received from Barbra, and his very own "ASIB" memorabilia.
