Barbra Meets Prince
William
July
10,
2011
At
an
ultra-exclusive
reception
in
Hollywood
this
evening,
Barbra
and
James
Brolin
had
the
honor
of
meeting
royal
newlyweds
William
and
Catherine.
The
future
King
and
Queen
of
England
were
in
Los
Angeles
where,
among
several
scheduled
events,
they
met
with
the
elite
of
Hollywood
at a
benefit
for
the
British
Academy
of
Film
and
Television
Arts,
which
Prince
William
chairs.
After meeting William and
Catherine, Barbra told
People Magazine,
"They're both very
charming. I told him about
his mother's being so
gracious the night of the
Prince of Tides opening
in London. She made me
stand up first, quite
contrary to protocol."
Barbra and the Royal
Family
Barbra
is
no
stranger
to
the
Royal
family.
Having
officially met
Prince
William
(photo,

Barbra
can now
boast that she
knows
three
generations
of Windsors.

Lady.
In April 1994, Prince
Charles attended one of
Barbra's concerts at
London's Wembley Arena
where the two old friends
caught up backstage.
"Who knows. Maybe if I had
been a little nicer to
him, I would have been the
first real Jewish
princess." |
