Bonus Tracks All Over Town
May 8, 2007
Many
Streisand
fans
across
the US
began
their
day
with a
trip
to
their
local
Barnes
&
Nobles
to be
the
first
in
line to buy
the
official
CD
release
of
"Streisand
Live
In
Concert
2006."
A
highly
publicized
"exclusive
bonus"
cut of
"When
The
Sun
Comes
Out"
was
offered.
So as
fans
headed
for
the
registers
to pay
for
this
premium-priced
bonus
CD, it
was a
mission
accomplished.
Or was
it?
As the
day
progressed,
it
became
known
that
different
bonuses
were
available
at
different
retailers.
So,
fans
who
wanted
to own
all of
the
available
audio
(and
bonus
video)
from
the
concert
had to
scramble
to make
multiple
purchases
of the
new CD
at
three
different
retailers.
But it
is Barbra, so like many of you, we traveled all
over town to buy the new album three times,
shelling out over $55 with tax.
Barnes & Noble
