The
official
announcement
has
been
made.
Barbra
Streisand
will
return
to the
concert
stage
in a
nationwide
tour
this
fall.
She'll
perform
twenty
concerts
in
major
cities
around
the US
beginning
in
October.
In
Barbra's
words,
"The
increasingly
urgent
need
for
private
citizen
support
to
combat
dangerous
climate
change,
along
with
education
and
health
issues
was
the
prime
reason
I
decided
to
tour
again."
Barbra will distribute designated concert proceeds to select
causes through the Streisand Foundation. Dates and locations
of Barbra's upcoming concerts will be coming shortly.
Barbra's last concert tour was the very successful
"Timeless" in 2000.

it was
announced
today.
The
additional
New
York
show
will
be on
October
11 at
Madison
Square
Garden,
and
tickets
have
already
gone
on
sale.
The
additional
Sunrise
Florida
(Ft
Lauderdale)
show
will
be on
October
30 at
Bank
Atlantic
Center.

first
New
York
concert
has
been
declared
a
sell-out.
Her
upcoming
October
9
performance
was
such a
fast
seller
that
an
additional
concert
was
added
for
October
11.
As
of
this
morning, Ticketmaster
was
only
offering
a few
single
tickets
in the
lower
price
ranges.
Two or
more
seats
together
were
not
available.
But
ticket
inventories
do
change
from
time
to
time,
so
despite
the
"Sell-Out"
status
of
this
particular
performance,
if you
want
to
attend
the
first
New
York
show,
keep
searching

for
possible
last
minute
