No Hideaway Here

September 6, 2005
For the second time is as many years, Barbra is once again lighting up Times Square with a super-sized billboard advertising a new album. This time, it's Guilty Pleasures occupying the prized real estate atop the Virgin Records store entrance on Broadway. The new billboard, which shouts, Barbra and Barry Back Again is located in the exact spot where Barbra's The Movie Album hung in 2003, almost two years ago to the day. The jumbo ad includes mentions the album cuts, Stranger In A Strange Land, Come Tomorrow and Night of My Life.

The Guilty Pleasures billboard is the latest in a series of extraordinary marketing efforts the folks at SONY are putting forth to promote this sure-to-be mega hit album. If you're in town, the billboard can be seen on Broadway near 47th street.
